Terms of Service
These terms apply when you create an account, connect a cloud account or otherwise use our cloud cost optimisation service. Please read them alongside the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.
1. The service
The service gives you visibility of cloud spend and recommendations to reduce it, including Spend Map, AI Waste Finder, Rightsizing Lab, Budget Guard, Commitment Planner, Team Chargeback and Savings Reports. Features available to you depend on your plan.
2. Your account
- You must give accurate signup details and keep your login credentials secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for the users you invite.
- You must have the authority to connect each cloud account, subscription or project you link to the service.
3. Read-only access and your decisions
The service connects to your cloud with read-only permissions. It does not change, stop, resize or delete resources, and it does not purchase commitments.
Recommendations are suggestions based on historical data. You and your engineers decide whether to act on them and remain responsible for changes made to your infrastructure, including testing and rollback.
4. Estimates and realised savings
Savings shown before a change are estimates. Realised savings are measured from your actual cloud bills after a change. We do not guarantee any particular level of savings, because outcomes depend on the changes your team makes and on future usage.
5. Fees and billing
- Paid plans are priced as a percentage of tracked cloud spend for the month, subject to the monthly minimum of your plan.
- Tracked spend is the total cost of the connected accounts, subscriptions and projects for the billing month, before credits.
- Invoices are issued monthly in arrears in US dollars, unless an annual agreement says otherwise. Taxes are added where applicable.
- The free savings report has no charge and does not start a paid subscription.
6. Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to access data of other customers or to probe, scan or test the security of the service without written permission.
- Do not reverse engineer the service or use it to build a competing product.
- Do not resell access to the service without a written partner agreement.
7. Your data
You own your billing, usage and account data. You give us permission to process it only to provide and improve the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. We may use aggregated, de-identified statistics that cannot identify you or your company.
8. Availability and support
We aim to keep the service available at all times, apart from planned maintenance announced in advance. Data freshness depends on when cloud providers publish billing and metric data. Support channels depend on your plan.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for outcomes of infrastructure changes made by you.
10. Ending the service
You can cancel at any time from your account or by contacting us, effective at the end of the current billing month. We may suspend access for unpaid invoices or serious breach of these terms after notice. On termination, your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service develops. Material changes are sent to account owners by email at least 30 days before they apply. Continued use after that date means you accept the updated terms.
